As with many of our clients, this Texas-based company is intensely focused on growth and maximizing returns. Led by an integrated team of experienced engineers, construction managers and business professionals, Badlands Contracting understands what it takes to get projects done. This turnkey project was planned, built and commissioned on an expedited schedule. This turnkey project was planned, constructed and commissioned on an expedited schedule with zero injuries and within budget. Built in multiple phases, Badlands Contracting developed a clear strategy to execute the project that focused on minimizing risk and maximizing safety.
Our goal is to cut out all inefficiencies for our clients during the planning phase, so that no capital is wasted in an intense commodities market. Our team members are experts in developing practical and safe designs that are in line with field operations. By providing engineering, construction management and roustabout services, Badlands Contracting streamlines all steps required to successfully execute a project. Our client shared their vision of how the facility would operate, their capital spending limits and critical commission date. Badlands Contracting took care of the rest. We developed a turnkey design, produced engineering and drafting deliverables, coordinated with all contracted parties, procured all materials and equipment and professionally managed the project from start to finish.
This turnkey package was a combination of a greenfield and brownfield project. Given two wellbores, a pump building shell and a location outline, Badlands Contracting developed a design that prioritized cost and operation efficiency. By using fewer tanks and uniquely designed gun barrels, our battery is capable of handling four truck offload lanes and a pipeline inlet without sacrificing solid separation and oil recovery.
Badlands Contracting knows how to right-size a project. Located deep within the Badlands territory, this saltwater disposal facility was built as part of a pilot project for an operator proving acreage. Utilizing existing equipment and keeping future development in mind, Badlands Contracting’s team of engineers and construction managers created a fully integrated turnkey package that met our client’s needs and budget.
Built with future expansion in mind, this facility is equipped with two injection wells, four horizontal h-pumps, a truck offloading area and over 10,000 barrels of storage capacity. The facility has the capacity to process over 35,000 barrels per day of produced water delivered primarily by pipeline from nine surrounding well pads.
Badlands Contracting led this project from conception to completion. Our team generated the permit application, selected the pipeline route with survey, developed the design of the facility and gathering system, procured all equipment and materials and managed construction of the entire project.
